Ballroom is a dance of frame and connection, and both are taught fastest with a teacher in your arms rather than at the front of a room. Private ballroom lessons at our Rozelle studio are how adults who thought they had two left feet end up gliding, usually sooner than they believed possible.
What private teaching changes
Posture and frame are personal: your height, your shoulders, your habits. A private lesson tailors the hold to your body in the first ten minutes, something a group class cannot do for anyone. From there, every minute is spent on your waltz, your foxtrot, your tango, in whatever order serves your goals.
Who books private ballroom
Couples preparing for a wedding dance. Singles who want a skill for cruises and functions. Dancers returning after decades away. And a steady stream of adults over 50 who decided it was finally their turn; ballroom is particularly kind to them, and they are particularly good at it.
Programs, not packages
After your free introductory session, your instructor recommends a personalised program based on your goals, skill and learning pace. Not a generic course, not a fixed package: a program, reviewed as you progress, across as much of the ballroom repertoire as you want to explore.
