Glebe already has the bookshops, the markets and the long habit of doing things a little differently; learning Argentine tango on a Tuesday fits the suburb's character perfectly. The studio is one bay away, around the water in Rozelle.
Glebe to Darling Street
By car it is under ten minutes: The Crescent around Rozelle Bay, then straight up to Darling Street. The L1 light rail from Glebe or Jubilee Park toward Lilyfield gets you most of the way there without a car, and the foreshore walk around the bay is the scenic version.
Three steps into your first session
A conversation first
We start by talking about what you would like to get out of dancing, your confidence, your pace and what you are hoping for.
A little dancing
Then some gentle dancing, entirely at your pace. You do not need to know a single step, and you do not need to bring anyone.
A plan built around you
Your instructor recommends a program suited to your goals, your skill and your learning pace. No obligation to take it.
One studio, one teacher, your pace
Glebe treats good teaching as a find, and this is the kind worth telling the market crowd about: an adults-only studio where every lesson is private, every program is personalised rather than packaged, and nobody needs to arrive with a partner, experience or the faintest idea which of the 30+ dances is theirs yet.
Visiting the studio
