Haberfield perfected the art of doing traditional things properly, from pasticceria to federation gardens, and ballroom dancing belongs on that list. The studio is ten minutes away in Rozelle, and the waltz is waiting.
From Haberfield to the dance floor
The City West Link runs almost door to door: on at Ramsay Street, off at The Crescent, up to Darling Street, about ten minutes outside peak. The back way through Leichhardt is barely slower and takes you past better bread.
Locals already know
Haberfield students skew classic in the loveliest way: waltz, foxtrot, rumba, learned properly and unhurried. The suburb that refuses shortcuts tends to produce beautifully finished dancers.
Built around you, not a syllabus
Haberfield appreciates things done the traditional way, which is precisely how dancing is taught here: privately, patiently, one student or couple at a time, with a program built to the person rather than the term calendar. The 30+ styles run from classic ballroom to the whole Latin family.
